Working as an integrative therapist, using several types of therapeutic methods, including attachment, CBT and person-centred therapies, means therapy can be tailored specifically towards your needs.
Therapy can be invaluable, having someone to listen and support you when your are experiencing times of distress and life issues. Counselling and Psychotherapy (often shortened to just therapy) is beneficial for exploring issues, to help you develop understanding of your needs, experiences and gain strength to move forward.
Sometimes we don’t know why we experience what we do, why we respond to certain life events as we do or understand the effect events have on us until we explore more deeply the root of our thoughts and feelings. This can be very hard for many, it involves your commitment to therapy as the client, bringing self-awareness and potentially challenging your beliefs as you explore your experience. The outcome can be empowering, positive and could be life-changing.
